Master kite maker Bob Dawson founded Leading Edge Kite Co. in 1988 and quickly gained a reputation worldwide by designing, manufacturing and exporting kites to all corners of the globe. In 2005 Bob passed the running of Leading Edge on to concentrate solely on repair and warranty work on all brands of kites, kitesurfing, kiteboarding and power kiteing.
